Trollfallet is a new ride for 2009 in the Hunderfossen theme park in Norway. Working with Nick Farmer, this was a very enjoyable project. To fit in with the brief that everything had to look as though a Troll had made it, we primarily used Douglas fir timber to sculpt and shape various props. It also gave us a chance to use new materials such as cowhide to produce boots, jackets and even a troll bra! The feature was a walkthrough round a castle that contained a collection of scenes that told a story. The story is of local tradition and builds up the suspense ready for the drop ride at the end.
