We were asked to produce a large Lego helicopter with rotating blades to sit on the roof of the Racers building at Legoland Windsor. Starting with the tiny model, which was just 140mm long, each part was scaled up in order to produce the much bigger version at over 5m long! The entire model was formed in GRP, which involved making moulds and colour matching each individual part.
